Everyone spends most of their time picking out their carpet, but choosing pad is also an important step. Your carpet pad will help make your carpet feel better, thicker, and richer. Pad will also help your carpet last longer especially in hallways and high traffic areas. One of my favorite things pad helps with is keeping your carpet cleaner. It raises your carpet off the subfloor which will give more room to breath.
